Vision
The chief objectives of the college since its inception has been to shape the young minds with the urge for creativity, spirit of tolerance, scientific temper and to cope with changing need of the society and economy. Post independence, the noble thinkers of every corner tried to uplift the ecology and environment of our ancient glimpses needful to our nation. In the dimension of higher education in very remote area of old Barhiya village and it’s surrounding which have a ample of lands and situated between Gangetic and Large Tal area, visionary late Gopeshwar Pd. Singh, a freedom fighter and landlord of this area established this co-educational institution for the welfare of the huge masses of 30 square mile resident to associate with the power of knowledge in 1958, to make our country real literate.
Mission
Promote a campus environment that welcomes and honours men and women of all races, creed and cultures and thereby encourages intellectual curiosity and pursuit of knowledge in an atmosphere of acedemic freedom. The Vision and Misssion statements are imbued in the daily activities of this institution. Students are encouraged to freely interact with faculty members and seek their counsel whenever required.This institution also promotes interdisciplinary action research thereby highlighting the institution’s social responsibilities. Every effort is taken by the administration to impart holistic education as inscribed in its vision and mission statements.
