The college was established with an aim to provide qualitative higher education to the deprived sections of the society. The establishment of the college was in fact a dream coming true for the education loving people of the rural area where the college Jayanand College Nehra, Bihar was established in 1970. The college presently is a constituent unit of L.N.M. University. The institute has been persistently craving for innovative methods to improve the quality of higher education in all its streams wise Science, Humanities, Social Science and Commerce from the regular courses. We are having a cosmopolitan atmosphere where students from the native state and from outside state viz. adjacent state of Bihar get admission to achieve formal degree as well as professional and vocational courses.

They are always guided and tutored by experienced and highly qualified teachers. Youngsters are motivated in the campus through co-curricular and extracurricular activities by which they come up as sources of pride for the college and the university. The college has the distinction of pride for many of its students who have achieved their prestigious goal in India and abroad. We would like the university to lead the country and the college to lead Bihar as well as the whole India in the field of higher education.
